Served as a Technical lead for the global deployment of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) for a big
telecommunication group (≈200k endpoints, +24 subsidiaries): PoC, Design, Pilot, Production & Run. Responsibilities, tasks, achievements: • Deployment of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on all OSs (Windows, MacOs, Linux, VDI) • Design & build of the solution's overall architecture (step-by-step deployment guide, definition of RBAC roles, subsidiary device groups tagging, subsidiary support processes, Link to other SIEMs …) • Administration of the solution during transition (subsidiary support, development of Custom Detection Rules and PowerShell scripts for live response, etc...) • Preparation of tests in the Azure DevOps platform, training of testers on the platform, tracking and handling of defects, and sign-off for deployment in a production environment • Active participation in resolving end-user incidents related to deployment (solution cohabitation, Freeze, updates) • Writing of training materials (for SOC, IT, and Helpdesk) • Management & activity monitoring activities of a team of consultants with daily stand-ups • Planning vacations & managing the unplanned leaves • Tutoring an alternating student Delivery: • Assistance in the project planning in phases (POC, Pre-pilot, Pilot, and rollout) • Documentation: Architecture (DAT/LLD), detailed Deployment Guide, Test Plan, PowerShell scripts • Security configuration definition (PSSI): EDR, Antivirus, Firewall, etc. • Development of a web Dashboard in PowerBI to follow onboarding progress • Planning and facilitating follow-up meetings, configuration & troubleshoot workshops • Improving the group's security posture (Secure Score & Vulnerability Management) • SOC/CERT training for optimized use of the MDE console • IT & help-desk teams Training on the new product Environment: End-to-end deployment, EDR, AV, FW, BitLocker, PowerShell, AD, GPO, Intune, SCCM, Microsoft EntraID, Windows, VDI, MacOs, Linux, international scope, Support End-user, JIRA, Team & Project management |
